HOUSE RULES

TITLE:  HOUSE RULES
AUTHOR:  Jodi Picoult
GENRE:  Fiction
PAGES:  603
FORMAT:  Paperback
RATING: 5/5

What a wonderful book. It truly brings to light the issues with Asperger's Syndrome. You wouldn't realize that it exists because of our views on Autism. This is a highly functioning form of Autism. I loved how it went from view points. In a lot of stories this is the only way to get your point across and make the reader understand what is going on. Jodi Picoult is such a wonderful writer. I would highly recommend.

I really liked this book. It was a good way to end the series. It wasn't my favorite book of the series, but it definitely felt like everything was tied together at the end. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves contemporary romance.

LET THE GREAT WORLD SPIN

TITLE:  LET THE GREAT WORLD SPIN
AUTHOR:  Colum McCann
GENRE:  Fiction
PAGES:  349
FORMAT:  Kindle
RATING: 4.5/5
*****Book Club Read*****

I would give this book 4 1/2 stars. It took a little while for me to get into it though. The point of view kept changing. I liked how the author wove the lives of everyone that told the story together. It was very interesting that he wrote a story based on a real life tight rope walker in 1974. That is a strange thing to create a story around. It worked. I have to say that my favorite point of view was Tillie. It was the most interesting read. I would recommend this book. It's not really one that I would have chosen for myself, but that is what book club is all about.

SAVOR THE MOMENT

TITLE:  SAVOR THE MOMENT
AUTHOR:  Nora Roberts
GENRE:  Contemporary Romance
PAGES:  339
FORMAT:  audiobook
RATING: 4/5

I really enjoyed this book.  I'd have to say that it's the best of the series for me.  I thought it was weird that brother and sister kind of talked about their sex lives, but I guess that's how some families are.  I can't want to read the last book of the series, but I will be sad when it ends because I am really liking the setting and characters of this series.

THE DISTANT HOURS

TITLE:  THE DISTANT HOURS
AUTHOR:  Kate Morton
GENRE:  Fiction
PAGES:  576
FORMAT:  Kindle
RATING: 3/5

This book took forever to get to the meat of it. I kept waiting for some weird thing and it wasn't that surprising. I would have given it 5 stars except it drug on and on. It was well written or it would have gotten 2 stars to be honest. It could have been done in 300 pages or so. I wouldn't really recommend this book. I am going to try reading her other ones though.
